Texas collaboration pledges mammograms
and breast cancer treatment for local women
First-of-its-kind event marks 2nd year
In an unprecedented expression of compassion for women in our community, a partnership of foundations and medical service providers in three counties will offer a day of complimentary mammograms for women in the area who are underinsured or lack access to preventive care — and underwrite treatment expenses for participants diagnosed with breast cancer on these days.
Dates for 2010 are:
- Tarrant County - Wednesday, September 17, 2010
- Parker County - Saturday, September 18, 2010
- Johnson & Tarrant County - 24 hour mammo marathon October 21, 2010
