Careity Breast Care Center comes to Weatherford

Careity Foundation, along with the Center for Cancer & Blood Disorders, Dr. Robyn Young, Dr. Amy Gunter, Dr. Denise Wise and Solis Women's Health, are working together to change that, however, as they bring the Careity Breast Care Center to Parker County.

Texas collaboration pledges mammograms and breast cancer treatment for local women
First-of-its-kind event marks 3rd year
In an unprecedented expression of compassion for women in our community, a partnership of foundations and medical service providers in three counties will offered a day of complimentary mammograms for women in the area who are underinsured or lack access to preventive care — and underwrite treatment expenses for participants diagnosed with breast cancer on these days.
Dates for 2011 are:
- Tarrant County - Monday, September 12, 2011
- Parker and Palo Pinto Counties - Saturday, September 17, 2011
- Johnson and Tarrant Counties - To Be Announced
