Texas collaboration pledges mammograms
and breast cancer treatment for local women
Landmark event believed to be first of its kind in U.S.
In an unprecedented expression of compassion for women in our community, a partnership of foundations and medical service providers in three Counties, will offer a day of complimentary mammograms for women in the area who are underinsured or lack access to preventive care — and underwrite treatment expenses for participants diagnosed with breast cancer on these days.
